Transfer Audit
Switching your ISO certification body? Our Transfer Audit ensures a seamless, compliant transition — reviewing your existing management system, validating open actions, and issuing your new certificate without any lapse in status.
No Certification Lapse
Our Transfer Audit is structured to maintain continuous certification — your certificate stays valid throughout the transition.
IAF-Recognised Accreditation
UCS holds internationally recognised accreditation, ensuring your new certificate is accepted globally.
A Transfer Audit (also called a Transfer Review) is an independent assessment conducted when an organisation decides to move its ISO certification from one accredited certification body to another. UCS UAE performs the Transfer Audit in accordance with IAF MD 2 and the relevant ISO standard, reviewing your existing system, open non-conformities, and surveillance history — so your new certificate carries the same scope and validity with no interruption to your certification status.
Our Transfer Audit Covers
Review of existing certification documents, scope, and current certificate validity.
Assessment of the management system against the relevant ISO standard requirements.
Gap analysis identifying any open non-conformities or surveillance actions still outstanding.
Verification that corrective actions from your previous certification cycle are effectively closed.
Evaluation of the organisation's internal audit programme and management review outputs.
Issuance of a Transfer Audit Report confirming compliance status and readiness to transfer.
What Happens During a Transfer Audit
Our Transfer Audit is a structured desktop and on-site review conducted in accordance with IAF MD 2 guidance. We examine your current certificate, scope, and the full certification history from your previous body — including any non-conformities raised and the corrective actions taken.
We do not simply accept the previous body's findings at face value. Our auditors independently verify that your management system continues to meet the requirements of the relevant ISO standard and that there are no outstanding issues that would prevent issuance of a new UCS certificate.
Upon successful completion, we issue your new UCS certificate covering the same scope, maintaining continuity of your accreditation cycle.
